HISTORY
WPM Education focuses on the development and provision of online payment solutions and bespoke services to the UK's Higher and Further Education sectors.
In 2001 WPM developed an online card payment solution for the University of Birmingham which enabled students' tuition and accommodation fees to be paid via the Internet.
Following further innovation and development WPM launched further Online Payment services and Online Store which allowed customers to purchase services and products directly from the University or College via the internet.
WPM Education was formed as a division of WPM in 2005 in response to WPM's position as the leading supplier of online payment solutions to the higher and further education sectors.
In 2005 the University of Oxford became WPM Education's 25th client, following this WPM's Education has grown over 100% in the last 3 years and now has over 60 clients using a range of online payment systems and solutions.
WPM Education works with its current clients on a regular basis to improve service offerings, and evolve the WPM Education suite in line with the education sector. WPM Education regularly hosts free to attend User Groups and Demonstration Days where key decision makers in the higher and further education industry can network and investigate how they can improve their finance processes and utilise their current systems.
