User Group Success

Thank you to all our Users that joined us at our Annual National User Group, this year held in the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester on the 26th February.

We are pleased to announce the event was a great success with interesting and thought-provoking presentations from PayPal, Barclaycard, Finalysis, the University of St Andrew and the University of Birmingham.

The User Group was attended by over 80 users representing over 40 higher education institutions. Based on feedback gathered on the day and after the event this was our best event yet, with particularly positive feedback on the venue, organisation, delegate packs and topics covered on the day. Not to mention the night before where close to 40 attendees joined us for an evening of Japanese tepanyaki and a couple of drinks in the hotel bar which presented an excellent opportunity to network with other users and prepare for the day ahead.

The event concluded with our first User AGM giving our users the opportunity to discuss the future development of our solutions and how we can progress our user interaction and the format for future User Groups and events. The main outcome will be an increase in the amount of user sessions where feedback can be given on and towards the development of specific products, probably in the form of User Sessions, and we will look to trial these in advance of the regional User Groups in the summer.
