Regional User Groups

22nd July 2010

We are pleased to say that all four Regional User Groups were a great success with some 88 attendees from a total of 51 institutions joining us at a variety of locations across the UK - Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Brighton.

The Regional User Groups covered a general update from WPM, an account management update covering quarterly reviews, Help Desk and support processes, Extranet changes and the Customer Satisfaction Survey results. There were also case studies from a number of clients, a training/e-learning overview, development update and a user discussion group which provided attendees with the chance to raise questions and network with other clients.

We would like to say a special thanks to Matthew Blandford (Liverpool John Moores University) and Richard Shortland (The University of Birmingham) who kindly offered us the use of their facilities to host the User Groups, and Sally Salter (University of Sheffield), Matthew Bunn (University of Edinburgh), Dianne Hutchinson (University of Sunderland), Helen Edge (Lancaster University), Keith Adams (London School of Economics and Political Science) and Chris Patten (University of Cambridge) for their well presented, enjoyable and interesting case study presentations.

Once again, the User Group feedback has been very positive with the majority feeling it exceeded their original expectations and provided them with the unique opportunity to network with other users and share their experiences, tips and advice with different systems.

User Group slides will be made available to download from the Extranet at the end of this week. However, in the meantime if you have any questions or wish to pass on any additional feedback, please feel free to get in contact by emailing Lindsay Fever or feel free to call us on 08442 641 580.
