2010 ANNUAL USER GROUP CONFERENCE - A TRIUMPH

This year's Annual User Group Conference held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester on the 24th and 25th of February, was once again a great success. WPM would like to thank all 56 Institutions and 130 delegates that attended.

Following on from user feedback last year, we extended our annual conference to include a day of workshops for users to share their knowledge and have the chance to discuss developments of our solutions. We hope you found the conference enjoyable and interesting.

Institutions have gained a 40% increase in turnover through WPM e-payment systems

The headline figure across all institutions is a 40% increase in turnover and transaction volume. This is a clear indicator that e-payments still have plenty of scope for growth.

PayPal offer 3 months free processing and a reduced rate for WPM Clients

WPM Education is pleased to announce that PayPal have agreed to reduce their pricing to 1.2% and 20p per transaction for all Institutions that accept PayPal via WPM Education's e-payment solutions. This reduced rate is much lower than PayPal’s normal transactional pricing and hopes to encourage Universities to offer their students more choice and convenience when paying online whilst also bringing the transactional costs to a level comparable with credit card processing charges.

Online Store Workshops - your chance to have your say into the furture direction of the Online Store

WPM recently held six regional user workshops to allow users to provide their input into the future direction of the Online Store. These workshops were held in London, Bristol, Leicester, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh to try to give all users a reasonable chance to attend.

Upgrading to the Online Store V3.5 - upgrades available at no additional cost

WPM is pleased to announce that the Online Store V3.5 is now fully available, including all modules, to all clients. We are currently carrying out a phased upgrade across all existing users.
