CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The WPM PCI DSS Conference is a free 2 day event on the 29th - 30th May 2012 open to all HE/FE institutions and public sector organisations with the aim of improving PCI DSS knowledge, understanding and compliance within the sector.

WPM asks that institutions/organisations register a maximum of 3 attendees on Day 1 to provide fair access to the training provision as we have a limit of 250 spaces. If you are interested in sending more than 3 attendees then please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request.

WHAT DATES SHOULD I ATTEND?

DAY 1: TRAINING (29TH MAY)

The first day of the conference will be primarily focused on training; so if you have a limited understanding of PCI compliance and how this will apply to your organisation then please attend. For anyone with a lot of existing experience of PCI compliance this day may not be relevant, although please feel free to get in touch to check the suitability for you.


DAY 1: DINNER (29TH MAY)

As part of the conference package, dinner is provided for all conference attendees for those which attended day 1 and those which are arriving for day 2. This will be held in the Lowry Hotel and will include drinks and after dinner entertainment.


DAY 2: CONFERENCE (30TH MAY)

The second day will contain a full conference programme to help expand attendees’ knowledge and give them exposure to case studies, industry experts, acquirers and potential suppliers (Qualified Security Assessors, hardware and software vendors).

Supplier showcases and workshop options will be announced in the run-up to the event.
