The Direct Debit Management System (WEBDDS) is a viable alternative to the traditional time-intensive and onerous collection and management of Direct Debit payments. The system not only enables you to take full control but also ensures that your university/college collects payments on time whilst significantly reducing the time consuming administration tasks involved. It turns Direct Debit payments into a simple, streamlined and largely automated process, reducing staff administration while exceeding user expectations.

The system populates student details and address data as well as the export of payment information to your internal systems. The system automatically generates both electronic email and printed correspondence, reducing staff administration overheads while providing a higher level of customer service. The system is fully compliant with the BACSTEL-IP application protocol. SECURE WEB-BASED APPLICATION

Additionally, the system allows an institution to manage the set up, collection and management of Direct Debit payments via a secure, web-based application, significantly reducing the risk of any unauthorised access.

NO HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE REQUIRED

There is no hardware or software needed to start using the system and there is no physical installation required due to the system being completely web-based.

INTEGRATED SORT CODE VALIDATION - IMPROVING DATA ACCURACY

The system comes with integrated sort code validation and modulas checking on bank/building society account numbers which is based on the latest industry data.

POSTCODE LOOKUP - REMOVING INCORRECT ADDRESS DATA

WEBDDS provides optional integration of PAF (Postal Address File) data to allow customers and administrators alike to make use of postcode lookup and validation processes. This allows time to be saved when entering addresses as well as ensuring less ongoing administration related to incorrect address data. The system also supports multiple addresses per user, e.g. a term time and home address or multiple contacts.

NO LIMITATIONS ON THE TYPES OF PAYMENT USED

There is no limitation on the types of payment the system can cater for. The system provides the ability to specify different collection logic for each type of payment plan. Additionally, the system not only enables you to specify the exact date and the amount to be taken but you can also specify recurring plans to take payment every "x" amount of time. Even more, the system supports Direct Credits which can be used to make payments to suppliers and staff.

FLEXIBILITY

Working on the basis that one size does not fit all, various categories can be created to suit different collection types, e.g. "tuition fees", "accommodation fees" and "donations". Each category can have its own notice period, correspondence and interface settings. Changes to collection dates and amounts can then be made to each individual instruction, while still allowing bulk updates based on user-definable criteria.
