In addition to the core features the Conferences and Events Module offers optional features for sales of a conference or event:

  • PROGRAMME


    Construct a full plenary & daily programme either purely for display purposes or to allow delegates to book specific options (optionally limiting numbers for each).
  • ATTENDEE CATEGORIES


    Setup one or more attendee categories each with its own allocation of spaces, pricing and programme options.
  • ACCOMMODATION


    Any information regarding accommodation can be added within the event as a programme option.
  • CONTACT


    Specific contact information for the event, include /images, text and HTML formatting as required.

CONFERENCES & EVENTS MODULE


The Conference & Events Module is designed to provide a solution for users wishing to manage and sell conferences and events online.

It integrates fully with the Online Store framework while providing functionality from an administration and user perspective specific to administering, registering and paying for conferences and events.

The module has been developed in conjunction with the higher and further education sector to address its specific requirements for events, which are run either internally or externally, which require online booking and payment for one or more attendees during a single shopping session. This extends to capturing each attendee's details, the specific options they require as well as an optional questionnaire of information specific to each event.

The solution has been designed and built to act as a simple, flexible and cost-efficient solution sitting somewhere in-between the basic Online Store shopping basket functionality and a full stand-alone system.

In addition to the basic Online Store functionality, the Conferences and Events module provides event specific administration and reporting allowing summary, event, delegate and programme options to be exported in a CSV format.

MAKING YOUR EVENT A SUCCESS


The Conferences and Events module will allow you to add the following functionality to your Online Store:

  • OVERVIEW: Provide a description of the event, include /images, text and HTML formatting as required.
  • BOOK NOW: Allow the customer to book for one or more delegates and add the event to their shopping basket. Separate information is captured for each delegate including special dietary and physical access requirements.
  • LOCATION: Information regarding the location its description, maps and transport, include /images, text and HTML formatting as required.
